Benjamin Orion Rush was
born in Concord, NH in 1975. He studied Drawing at the Art Institute
of Boston and earned his BFA in Photography with honors from the
Savanna College of Art and Design in 1999. Recent exhibitions include
"sites-unseen" at the Colby Museum, in Colby, Maine, "superSalon"
at Sampson Projects in Boston, Massachusetts, and "Jewels in
the Crown, Architecture of the Savannah Plan" at The American
Institute of Architects Headquarters Gallery, Washington, DC.
In addition
he has curated extensively in Georgia and Maine, including several
exhibitions at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art. He teaches
at the Maine Photographic Workshops and oversees the Photography
Program at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. He currently
lives and works in New York City.
